A very sweet story, full of interest and excitement for children to keep them hooked. I would say a good read for 7-10 year olds. Loved the illustrations throughout. Cannot wait for the next in series.

An ideal 'quick' read for younger audiences (7-10 years of age)
Personally I would have loved to read more and had seen the ideas expanded upon more as a 'mature' reader; I would have enjoyed more explanations and background information. However, I (hope and) expect more of the ideas to be covered again and explained more fully in the following books and for 'younger' readers I think that the fast pace will keep them reading to the end.
A stunning first book enjoyed by the whole family with beautiful artwork by the author. I eagerly await the next book!
